Softcover with mounted photo on front cover. With 36 illustrations, appendix with 25 pages of terminology in Dutch-English-French-German. Text is in the Dutch language. Very scarce title by an author best known for his titles on the High School, Circus, Liberty Training and Quadrille published in English in the 50s and 60s. Covers the words and expressions used to describe the exterior and stance of the horse, equipment, manege figures,the walk, trot and the High School (including renvers, travers, piaffe, passage, courbette, levade, etc.). Very good + except pages are quite foxed, and a small tear to back cover repaired long ago with cellophane tape.
